Central Coast Fisherman Help Needed

Dear Friends of the Fishermen & Women,

We're asking for your help!

On Tuesday, February 7th, the San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors will be taking a vote to adopt the resolution to oppose the proposed Chumash
Heritage National Marine Sanctuary (CHNMS).

Please attend the meeting on Tuesday morning and thank Supervisors Arnold, Compton & Peschong for supporting the Central Coast fishermen and to ask them to vote to adopt the resolution to oppose the CHNMS.

We are third on the agenda, so please arrive early.

When: Tuesday, February 7th
Doors open 8am—Meeting starts 9am
SLO County Government Center
1055 Monterey St, SLO

If you aren't able to make the Tuesday meeting, you can still help out.  Either call the County Board of Supervisor's switchboard and leave a message:

Call 805-781-5450 or 1-800-834-4636 weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

OR email boardofsups@co.slo.ca.us with this message:

-I support local control of our Central Coast waterways
-I support our local fishing industry and the multi-generations of fishing families
-The Central Coast does NOT need additional layers of regulations, our coast is already protected by the 18 federal and state regulations and statutes on the books
-Please vote to adopt the resolution to oppose the Chumash Heritage National Marine Sanctuary

~ ~ To raise awareness and enlist the public's aid for the needs of injured service members.
~ ~ To help injured service members aid and assist each other.
~ ~ To provide unique, direct programs and services to meet the needs of injured service members
